An old writer’s head is like a dust bin. He finds “new ideas” there on a regular basis. And later remembers he first thought of these ideas many, many moons ago – but was too busy or too lazy to do anything with them.
And then, if fortune smiles on him – or her – the idea forces itself to the front of the brain and demands attention.
